I…
care that companies be the organized means through which people are able to express themselves – their gifts, their talents – in a way that contributes to their self-worth and self-esteem, nurturing meaningful lives.
care that companies be miraculous systems that contribute to the world in ways that uplift everything they touch.
care that people love what they do, at work and at life.
care that we are happy and enthused and curious and excited in, and by, life.
am driven to make a difference in business and with business owners. That is where I feel called to serve.
welcome
- I’m a strategic and intuitive business advisor. Through individual coaching and corporate consulting, I work one-on-one and in groups with entrepreneurs and executive leadership who want unimagined opportunities while making a difference in the world.
Every problem we face in business, and in life, is the result of finding or feeling the limitations in existing systems that do not allow for the full expression of opportunities. I truly enjoy bringing insight and focus to business challenges. - I write. I write to share what I see, to clarify my own thoughts and, hopefully, inspire you to something new and great in your life. My topics center on the greatest human potential each person can express in their life and through their work; business change and innovation; emerging systems in the business world, and how the human energy system plays out in life and work.
my past life
For the most recent 14 years, my partners and I ran a fully integrated marketing firm for small to mid sized businesses, GX Creative Communications. With a team of up to 12, we did everything from strategic planning and branding to web design and development. Loving the work and the ride, I never realize then that we were doing some pretty cutting edge work in the early world of online.
A long time ago, I had a few ‘real jobs’ – I was vice-president at Public Strategies, Inc. where we built and managed some pretty impressive campaigns for some of the big companies, and even for some big countries. I’ve also had the pleasure of working for a mayor and for the chairman of one of the largest state agencies here in Texas, as well as a great stint at passionate non-profit.
I’m most proud of the work I did as a volunteer board member, and ultimately as Chair of the Board, when we merged 3 major non-profits to create LifeWorks. The devotion and selflessness of everyone involved left an indelible mark on my soul.
my other life
For me, work is a vehicle for self-expression, creativity and contribution to the world. So it’s a big part of me.The other big part of me are my three brilliant, curious, wonderful kiddos, and my partner-best friend husband.
oh, yes, my schooling
I got a fabulous liberal arts education (that means the focus was on learning how to THINK) from Southwestern University, BA in Business 1990.
And then did some more learning at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin, MPAff, 1993.
And, because it matters to me, I’ll let you know I’m a Montessori kid – 9 years of it.

the true spirit of my work ~ my words that light the way for the path I’m on
Is to give leaders of complex systems
The sublime moment of silence and stillness
That comes when pieces and parts come together in simple agreement and harmony
And self interest falls away, yielding a truly new solution that creates unimagined opportunities for everyone
So that the impossible becomes possible, and as a global family we accelerate on the path of cosmically necessary evolution.
